The style that I used for my elevations was not to express elements with color but use line weights and the use of shading to express my ideas.A large gym space has been added on the North East sector of the building for the firefighters are more connected to their community. The use of "bed pods" are proposed to allow for separate alarm systems for each team. This will allow certain units that are needed for action that the other units will be disturbed by the alarm and or of the other team leaving the station.

Nice rendering congratulations on achieving your goal of enhanced curb appeal. It does come at some cost though. The butterfly roof though attractive would have to capture plenty of water to pay for itself if it means removing the existing roof structure and replacing it to achieve the slope. I wish you could have addressed the existing safety issues with a little more clarity...you still have the sleeping pods opening directly into the contaminated truck bays - the elimination of which was a major objective in increasing safety for the firefighters...consider sorting people and equipment and the inbound and outbound movement of each through the spaces

Justin, I really like the addition of the pergolas to achieve curb appeal. It appears very neighborhood friendly. The location of the kitchen and dayroom + patio is great. It allows for prime daylight from the south & a nice sunset in the west. The patio being stepped in allows for shading from the adjacent wall while allowing sunlight. A main concern of the floorplan layout is the location of the sleeping corridor. It is highly exposed to surrounding areas. Being open right into the apparatus bay entrance is not ideal. Besides the toxins, think about how circulation throughout that area may affect the rest/sleep of the firefighters and privacy. As well, the laundry room is open to it. Try placing a door there? Overall, good work!
